MY JOURNEY SO FAR...

I never had one fixed career plan. I knew I enjoyed designing, sustainability and understanding how things worked, but I didn't know where that would eventually lead me. I moved through different areas of engineering, took every opportunity I could and learnt something from each one. That's how I discovered building controls - An industry I barely knew existed, but one that brought out my passion and meshed technology, problem-solving and making buildings smart. There isn't one fixed way into BMS.

You don't need to follow the same route as everyone else, and you don't need to have it all figured out. Controls has so many different career paths within it too, so keep exploring until you find the part that clicks for you
