About the Working Group
Working Group Chair:
The Technical Working Group is chaired by Ben Jenkins, 1 Control
The Technical Working Group is a central resource for the BCIA on all technical issues. The group, powered by volunteers, act as a forum for developing a balanced BCIA view on key technical issues; is a group that leads on publishing technical guidance; they identify emerging technical and technological developments impacting the industry and work to develop information and learning programmes for members; input into standards and technical documents for other organisations or BCIA sections.
Open to representatives in BCIA member companies only.
Corporate plan responsibilities
The Technical Working Group support:
Placing Controls at the heart of Policy discussions,
Raising awareness and understanding of controls in creating efficient buildings.

Reviewing and developing a comprehensive suite of BEMS Technical Guides and Factsheets
ESG and Carbon Reporting program for members
Consultants education and engagement programme
BEMS Delivery Framework
Energy audit training and education programme
