YEN Events Calendar Update
There are lots of great events to get involved with as part of the YEN and broader Association. Most are limited capacity so to secure your place at any of the events. Visit the BCIA events page - if you are an employee of a BCIA member company just sign in or sign up, non-members will need to sign up but can only register for events that are open to the public.
YEN Talks, 17th April; Bury Greater Manchester - free to attend
An informal event for young engineers in the north of England, led by Technical Director of Open Controls, Jason Stirzaker. These informal events offer a deep dive into subjects but in a discussion and Q&A format. Finished off with social time over pizza and beers.
BCIA Members Conference, 2nd May; Birmingham – only open to employees in member companies
Join a packed day of updates, learning and networking at the BCIA Annual Members Conference. For the first time we will have manufacturer networking points where you can meet the manufacturers and learn about their latest product updates. Members’ conferences offer an unrivalled networking opportunity. Places are limited so we recommend early booking.
Building Services Forum, 6th June; London – paid for event
This one day event is run by the team at Building Services Engineering Forum. It will provide a platform to network and share knowledge with professionals all working towards a common Net Zero goal, gain insight into the latest regulatory requirements and how to comply with them, learn about the latest developments, products, services, and technologies as well as new approaches to achieving sustainability goals.

Smart Building Concepts with Schneider Electric, 20th June; Coventry – free to attend
This event will explore the concept of a smart building with participants working collaboratively through the different components of planning, design and delivery.
It will be a hugely interactive event with participants working in teams to create and present solutions as well as provide feedback to other teams. It will be an event for learning, developing team working and project-based skills and, importantly, meeting like-minded young engineers to help build your networks. The event will finish at a nearby pub for a laid-back meal and drinks.
