BCIA to host exclusive events to help members drive sector progress

As part of its commitment to supporting collaboration and innovation within the sector, the Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) is pleased to announce a series of exclusive networking events for members, taking place across the UK this autumn.

These events build on the success of the BCIA member breakfasts held in autumn 2024, which attracted strong attendance and sparked valuable discussions that continue to advance the building energy management systems (BEMS) industry.

To maintain this momentum, the new networking events – open to all employees of BCIA member companies – will take place in September and October 2025. The details are as follows:

Morning sessions will include a full breakfast, while the late afternoon event in London will offer a light bowl food/buffet-style menu.

To ensure accessibility for as many members as possible, the events have been scheduled at varied times and locations. There are no restrictions on the number of employees who can attend or the number of events a company may participate in. The BCIA encourages its members to consider sending employees to any, or all, of the events to meet a multitude of other BEMS professionals from across the UK.

These gatherings present a fantastic opportunity for BEMS engineers, consultants, and industry professionals to connect, share ideas, and explore challenges and opportunities within the sector. With strong interest anticipated, early registration is highly recommended – ideally at least two weeks prior to the event – to help with venue and catering arrangements.

BCIA members can secure their places by visiting the Events page here
