Construction Leadership Council’s Construct Zero Announces new Business Partners and Champions
The Construction Leadership Council’s (CLC) Construct Zero programme is delighted to announce a further expansion of its growing cohort.
Shell and Hitachi Energy have signed up to become Construct Zero Business Partners bringing the total number of Business Partners to around 150.
A further eight organisations have signed up to become Construct Zero Business Champions - bringing the total number to over 150 – providing tangible evidence of the steps they are taking to respond to the Net Zero carbon challenge and supporting the wider Construct Zero programme, with over 300 companies now on-board.

These organisations join as Construct Zero announced a refreshed programme earlier this year, in response to the Committee for Climate Change’s 7th Carbon Budget.
This ensures Construct Zero will continue to play a leading role in the sector’s charge to Net Zero, supporting the Government’s Net Zero ambitions.
Construction Leadership Council Deputy Co-Chair Stuart Togwell said: “Reaching net zero continues to be a priority for Government and the sector. I’m pleased today to welcome our new Business Partners and Champions to Construct Zero as the programme expands its reach into and work with industry (and beyond).
“I also invite those not already working with Construct Zero to consider joining this free, no cost programme”.
